Many bikers stopped at Cerini Harley-Davidson/Buell for the annual visit by Father Vince Gigliotti of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Brownsville for the 10th Annual Blessing of the Bikes.

The end of Feb was a good time to meet indoors before riding season starts. A few of the members gathered at the Waterfront D&B to have a good meal amongst friends. A few of those attending decided to head over to the Games Arcade to work off the meal.

February 9, 2008 - 3rd Annual Cerini soup cook-off
The 3rd Annual Cerini soup cook-off was convened to provide donations to the MDA. Nineteen volunteers participated to sell their soup and the Westmoreland County Community College, Culinary Arts Department provided two judges for the event (see last picture). Dave Seery won 1st place for his Chicken Tortilla Soup (see first picture).
January 26, 2008 - Mon Valley HOG bus ride to the Cleveland I-X Center
It’s the annual Mon Valley HOG bus ride to the Cleveland I-X Center. This year as in the past years the Mon Valley Chapter invited the Donora HOG Chapter to join them in this event. Bill Todd, Susan Rechichar, Dave and Judy Seery, Ron Henkel, Walt Birkhamer (AKA Rose), Neil and Penney Roemer, Howard Kerlin and Mary Williams participated. The two photos are of the group of attendees. The 1st picture is at the I-X Center and has some Mon Valley members in it also. The 2nd photo was taken at the inking Lizard Restaurant in front of the Iguana cage and has Mon Valley members in it too.
